Our Leadership
Mrs. Monika Kapoor is a reputed name in education industry. Currently, she is the Principal of Vagad Pace Global School, a residential-cum-day school near Mumbai. Since her joining, the school has reached new heights of success and it now ranks among the top residential-cum-day schools across India.
Prior to Vagad Pace Global School, Mrs. Monika Kapoor was holding the position of Joint Director of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). She has also led the Mentoring & Amp; the monitoring unit of CBSE successfully and headed a prestigious project of MHRD “Udaan” (A project launched by CBSE under the aegis of HRD to address the low enrolment of girl students in engineering colleges by focusing on the three dimensions of education- curriculum design, transaction and assessment. Under this project, 1000 girls are selected from all over India every year from Class 11 and they are mentored for JEE/IIT Exams free of cost).
Starting her professional journey as an Activity Teacher followed by an Academic Coordinator, she was then promoted to Head Mistress at a reputed school in Delhi. Mrs. Monika Kapoor has also worked as an Assistant Professor in a College of Education. During her distinguished professional journey, she has coordinated and contributed to reputed organizations like KVS/ NVS /DOE /NCERT. Also, she has worked as a Resource Person, an Examiner and Evaluator in various reputed exams like CTET, AIEEE, PMT, UGC NET, JEE and other exams.
It is her multifaceted personality that recognized her entry “An Idea that made a difference to my classroom” to be selected as one of the top 100 entries from over 1500 participants across India at Scholastic Teacher’s day contest 2005.
Besides, she takes keen interest in development of academic content development, finding new parameters in quality education and conducting effective training and orientation programme for Principals, HODs, teachers, students and other stakeholders.
She has been successful in conducting around 45 extensive training programs across India. Also, she is deeply involved in implementation of innovative research practices in respective areas. Her in-depth knowledge and experience can be witnessed in her writings as she has contributed to many national and international papers and prepared important training manuals.
During her almost 20 years of contribution to education industry, she brought significant changes in the society that brought laurel to every position she held and to every organization she worked with.
